okay I like a little more punky sort of stuff, but this is pretty good for what the artist is trying to accomplish. This f-ing garage band thing never accepts my reviews, so I dunno why I'm even trying again anyway though...
No thanx Vocals don't mesh well (some clashing), and they're shouting toooooooo much !!!!! Sorry, the lyrics don't go well with me as a female listener ...
Don't shut up The boss is a prick line caught my attention.. very Thorogood. No doubt the recording wasn't done professionally but the song amused me.
stoned!!! this is the kind of music that is cool to listen to stoned, driving a car, very cool music, i really liked it!!!
Good atmosphere Well-rounded with a good atmosphere. It fits together well and I can't say I'd change anything about this track! :
Sounds great. Very nice track here.
good effort This sounds more like country than pop rock to me. The effect on the vocal gave it a home recording quality. i would invest in that right away. Fun lyrics.
it's called a hook boys, get one and use it. i'm bored. have you heard the word "hook" before in reference to music? the reason i ask is that "shut up" is not a good hook. learn to write songs before you try to pass yourselves off as professional musicians.
not bad ok song, but lyrics were a bit dumb
oh yeah good intro... the lyrics were simple, which is good most of the time. good luck with everything guys...
jacked up truck rock nice guitar riff at the beginning. kind of funny. i like the playing in bar feel to it. if i lived in texas and worked on an oil rig i would probably like this song. but i don't. if you can't dig it you aint got a shovel.
not quite ready poor production ... very beginner/amateur sound. keep working, practicing.
Get ready for the charge Mantain continuity in rytham. The track starts well , goes down a bit due to change of tempo which could have been avoided.
This sounds like a live recording.. It's an original idea and it's got some nice !Garcia! like guitar phrasing going on. But I'm not sure it's going to appeal to the female half of the audience lol... Or it might if it's tongue in cheek (which I'm sure it is).
Shut up, I'm listening to
mofo garageband.com! Grateful dead meets Iggy Pop with
a dash of Mick Jagger. Definitely not TRL material, but I'd like
to kick someone's ass to it.

Political SantanaWow,
that guitar part was very Santana-like. The voice was of course,
very different. I liked the guitar playing during the verses in that
it was not a typical accompaniment. The solos were a little too Santana
and did not have as much character. The vocals were a little too sincere
in their political effort. They sounded a little preachy and were not melodic
enough. They got dull.
GOod StufF.Cool. It had a smooth groove and it rocked. I kinda liked the solos.
The lead guitars! Nice guitar work, instrumentals but vocals let it down.
Santana xeroxGood guitarist, but the santana influence is too heavy.
not too bad, right outta the 60s cool song sounds a bit like a 60s flashback...
These guy have no ideal how to write a song OK...? LAME
no vocals...the song might be decent with the guitars and a real singer. anybody can simply 'read' words, but a singer needs to sing with some emotion and change the tone of his voice from time to time. if i was in the band, i would axe the lead singer and keep everyone else.
very rough
great pruduction, great guitar, good song, give it a listen. well lyrics are very important to me these I found verry engaugeing. the guitar leads make me beleive someone likes Carlos Santana? (very cool) the production was very profesional.
Neither Here nor ThereGuitars lead breaks are nice on this one, but too infrequent to overshadow the holes that are apparent to me. The entire song seems to build on a guitar riff that is merely multiple pickings of primarily two notes. It does not take long for this style to become tedious. I also believe that the somewhat monotone delivery of the vocals handicap what could be a good song. Polish this one up and ready it to be released on your demo.
The
Corpse Phukker
I find it offensive unfortunate
one has to listen to at least 90 seconds of this crap. I do not appreciate
your sending this into my home.
Why would you write why would you write a song as disgusting as this, There needs to be a waring on here I had little kids present.
YeeHah! Dead Boys of the Purple Sage Enjoyable little ditty ...So tastefull.
VERY original song!!! Problem is I am not crazy about it! It is kind of carnival like with the background music.
Get out your shovel! does garageband review these songs before they foist them on us?
Only a good song if you're drunk. I can't endorse this, though I have to admit I did sway a little bit, wishing I had a beer stein in my hand.
Great Laughs I love funny lyrics
maybe I just don't get it
hugenope
good beat, but needs a remixgood beat words not easy to understand could have better musical harmony
Ted Honky Tonk Bundy's Blues Sounds like Ted Bundy didn't get the chair but snuck out and now writes sick music....
unusual! The music sounded ok but I didn't care for the lyrics as I was unable to understand most of them above the music.
Disturbing song from disturbed minds ? Interesting song to say the least, not sure what the message your trying to get across is. Ha.
The next award winner is...... I'm not really good at writing reviews about anything so here goes.... To be honest it was kind of cool. And if it was out on cd, i probablywould buy it as long as the rest of the cd backed it up. I feel that is the most important thing. How can i make it better....hmmmm....i don't know how i can make it better. it is a great song already.
As Romantic as it Gets! I guess this would be the ultimate cheap date. Did you hear about the Frenchman who beat a necroplilia charge by claiming that he didn't realize she was dead, he thought she was English!
yuck *sigh* you'll have a VERY limited audience for this...
crap from countryit stinks
will probably give old people heart attacks Funny. xtremely gross, but funny none the less. I've heard that most songwriters write from personal experience. PLease tell me this isn't true or it won't seem as funny.
goofy hill billies
GOD GIVES US WHAT WE NEEDThen
he kills us dead. This is wonderous, fantabulous, brilliant work. Everything
is true. Maybe Dr. Demento could play it with a bleep out of oh, well,
I guess he might have to bleep a lot. Kindof They Might Be Giants, but
better than the Wallendas busting through your roof and splatting in your
living room. If I could hug you, I would. You got a big fat five.
DONT KNOW NOT MY KIND OF MUSIC
Holy CountryInteresting lyrics, well delivered and nicely accompnied to suit the style of the song,
Polka? sorry, just not my thing
Rated XXX - Completely twisted yet intriguing. Electric guitar single notes get in the way of your engaging yet crude lyrics. Is that intentional? I found it a bit invasive and too loud over the lyrics.
Swing Your Partner Round N Round Um ... interesting ... I guess.
I'm doing the swing Good for old folks
COOL AWESOME
Morbid Circus Music Reminds me more of circus music than country. The lyrics and delivery were somewhat funny, but I'd say more disturbing than funny! I'd have to say that it didn't work for me.
I dig it. This reminds me of The Rolling Stone's !I Want My Baby Back! (I think that was the title. My only complaint would be that the instrumental sometimes covers the vocal. Cool accordion, by the way.
GraveYard Polka?? I'm sorry, I'm just not a Polka kind of guy. I had trouble underwtanding the words, so it is possible that they were funny, but I missed it. This is kinda like having a dog judging a cat fight.........nobody wins. I don't even know how to FIX a polka!
Funny as hell LOL The humour is what saved the rating for this track.
Morbid but worthy of listeningNice little tune...and think some interesting lyrics...although i had a difficult time understanding the lyrics because the music was too loud...turn that down and i think that i could really like it...
SICKER THAN Sick rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I like the beat! Humor is a welcome change.
sick sex sick, sick, sick i like it but i would change the profanity
Wher's the monkey? Perhaps I shouldn't be harsh. After all, teaming up a poorly ballanced music track featuring an accordion, or could that be a cheesy digital keybboard, and heavily doctored vocal track is not an everyday accomplishment. I feel sure this track is a humorous effort, and that can sometimes be a welcome relief. However, I can't believe that this artist believes this effort will push right to the top and get a major recording contract. Please tell me I'm right about that! Therefore, in a sense, this entry is not acceptable for entry in this contest. I suppose I am glad that Garageband.com doesn't heavily censor entries. The plus side of this is that some truly unique material gets heard. I'll admit this entry is unique. Perhaps I am just in a bad mood today. Perhaps this entry is a unique jewel. But on both counts: I DON'T THINK SO.
this band is fun- so PLEASE
get thee to a studio!
i love the quirky, unique sound of this band! and the song
is quite original and whimsical.
reminded me of being at the saturday market and coming across
some ragamuffin buskers. it brightened my spirits. top kudos to this
band! unfortunately, this track also has probably the WORST
production values of any i've heard on garageband.com- ans that's saying
a lot! whole sections of the song were lost because the recording was so
poor it was impossible to tell what the words were. PLEASE do yourselves,
and everyone else who enjoyed your music, a favor and book a little time
in a studio to lay down a few tracks so you can really strut your stuff-
cuz i'd like to hear more from you!
The Pig
Song
Hogging the limelight...
Just
had to laugh at this one, certainly a new angle on songwriting lyrics for
me... the words are quite inspirational. The song seems to dive straight
without a beginning and seems to tail off, which is a shame - there
must some cool starts and endings just dying to jump into this song. Musically
though for me it's just a bit boring, no real noticeable change between
verse and chorus. Great fun song with great potential.
ok ok
Swinging Medallions regroup Sounds like it was recorded in someones basement with a bunch of friends in the background having a party. I kind of like it- a bad omen.
you need a new lyric writer music was good. lyrics sucked. it gave me a headache
not into the southern rock antequated guitars, simplistic lyrics, & predictable changes lead to a poor song..
Quite enjoysable. Groovy little tune this one. Had an old school feel to it and overall it was quite enjoyable.
good job guys This is a funny song, I liked it. Well done guys. Everything sounds professional. Nother negative to say about this one (that's rare...believe me) well done
I do not believe Different Lyrics
long live mojo nixon! the only problem i had with this song was a couple times i couldn't understand the words. bonus points for a live track.
Cool groovey song Cool groovey song. Wacky vocals and a wacky groove.
good song kewl song
no no i hate it
YOU WILL LAUGH ORIGINALITY SAY'S IT ALL. IT IS A FUNNY SONG! I LIKED IT
She'll Love It!!! It's just Greeeeeat!!! I wanted to nominate it for 'Smoochiest love song', but I go busted by the little women and didn't need another lump in the head :
Deep message for me This sounds like a LIVE rcording - if it is, it's pretty good. The singer appears to have a limited range but makes up for it in 'charisma'. I like the subject matter, and I like the audience noises.
great pig noises duder i hope your farm animals don't mind you doing those things to them
Last Call Odd, I thought I smelled bacon cooking in the background. This ought to do well in local bars and taverns across the country. Has a rough unfinished sound that I think is actually appropriate for the tune. I would send in a copy to the Dr Demento show as it's sure to get airplay. I give it a 4 and 1 for originality.
i didnt like it. i thought it rather sucked. ok...i cant say that i enjoyed this, but im not going to criticize it cause im tired of other musicians getting ticked off at me. it sounds like a joke song, and I wasnt impressed with the musicianship or the humour, but hey, to each his or her own, live and let die, etc.
?? I don't get it....
Right Here, Right Sow A fine addition to that most sacred of music, Swine Rock. A lot of fun and pulled off in a convnicing manner. Cannot really envision what direction this band will go in from here, or where it came from but that can half the fun.
Save your Money! Silly! A waste of time.
Yup , It's the Dagavan I found the song to be very boring. I know that the musicianship is there but the song isn't. It's not that it is bad it just dosn'y do anything for me.
Sexist music here.... Lyrics are terrible and the music is poor. Not funny...
Therapy, anyone? Very disturbing. Is this from real life experiences? Seriously, an entertaining little ditty. I like the fact that you didn't spend a lot of time on the production. It sounds like you all had fun making the track.
who's a pig uh-huh!? This is great guys. Sounds like a lot of fun. The only thing that I don't like is that it sounds (musically) like it's been done a million times before. Change it up some
The
Birth Of Clovis
Scary sounds Sounds
a bit like the music to a horror movie..Unusual sound, more of a novelty
song more that anything else - primitive melody grates after a while.
aha ... we have an instrumental. oops no we don't the cartoon Russian characers come in around the minute mark. don;t know what i fel about this but you;re certainly getting an extra credit for originality and movie soundtrack credit cos I'd love to see a movie as crazy as this song is. thanks for making me smile
Very funny! really creative and witty. good work. of course, I don't hear this one being covered by Britney on her next album, but it's very charming and Zappa-esque (and having just 'fathered' a baby, I can relate!). high marks!
what did you ryme with plascenta? i dont get it , of all the things to write a song about you guys pick this , whats up with that?
What the @#!? As far as I'm concerned, the contest is over. This song is definately Garageband.com's winner.
humorous Sounds a little like russion folk interrupted by a child song. I like the ideas, very original; unfortunately the sound is not really brilliant.
Satanic Oompa Loompa Pop! This is very scary! Be forewarned, this group sounds very much like the munchkins from the Wizard of Oz and the Oompa Loompas from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory got together and made a pop album. The chanting lyrics of "Push baby push" with grunting noises in the background suggest a birth being taken place...perhaps in hell. I would like to hear more from these weirdos.
Labor pains Eeek! This is a very disturbing song about birth. The grunting and elf singing have thrown off any feeling of enjoyment for this number. Plus it’s extremely short…which labor, I’m sure is not.
gimmick song sounds international. are you guys an american band? i'm ready for the singing to start now--this is pop rock, remember? funny lyrics, but i'm not taking this seriously.
demented The intro went on so long I gave up on the vocal. When that came on I had to turn the song off. I'm just not that demented. Don't you think the subject matter is just a tad controversial?
eery nice egyptian sounding intro, I think it's a bit on the long side for an intro.
OH MY GOD!!! what the hell is this??? this is SO funny!!!! oh my god......amazing!!
Strange Exceedingly original
not sure im not sure what this song is.
Interesting Out There intro very funny lol
..you asked for it ..spooky.. wow.. hope mary is ok.. reminds me of a song on Dr. Demento radio show.. funny. help I've been struck by lightning
Hmmm...If nothing kinda original Well, the whole new age turkish midi sequenced warbly guitar thing through me off, but I guess you've got an originality thing going on. Subject matter is stupid. What I don't understand is why you would spend all that time recording those tracks and working out that arrangement and all the mixing to record a novelty song at best? Hey, ok...
Blasphemy+ Goofyness= no money I want to kill myself...please Lord, is 90 seconds ever gonna end?....humorous vocals save the day...I'll see you in hell
What the Heck Pop/rock Is this Pop/Rock? It seems like a opera comedy. It is an interesting song that must have been some fun to put together. This song has a audience somewhere. I found it very amusing.
This song sucks I hope not to have to hear it annymoor
Sounds a bit oriental... A song about birth? It was done very interestingly. A bit monotonous. Your music is okay, but it just is not very good. This might be good for a cantata or something.
I don't know if I should be offended, or if I shou laugh wow....very....interesting?! I can truly say, I have NEVER heard anything like that before. It sounds like something monty python would do. because i was listening to the lyrics so much, I don't really have any comments musically. Nothing stood out at me, negative or positive. I do think that this song is definitely made for a certain group of people, and I doubt that i'm included.....
different very ween like. lyrics are kind of creepy. pretty original.
I don't understand this song. Man I don't know what this song is about or what style it is. It could be good for its style but I don't know.
Syd Barret Early Floyd Feel There should be more bands out ther that are into experimenting with various musical sounds. The music is good, however I did not care for the lyrical content or melody. I must say it is highly original material, and I think they could possess a following. The music is not top 10 radio, but I think they should have aplce in music history.
aasdf what the heck?
Weird, Interesting? U find out... Interesting...but not my cup of tea...if it makes you feel any better the one you were against was waaay way worse...so you won the 1v1...not my cup of tea guys....Good Luck
Push Mary oh gawd the memories, hehee
Stay Away This song is horrible.
Too bad for words I'm at a loss for words on this one.
funny rock and roll. they are such nice guys,
i want to be like Frank Zappa very long intro- shocking presentation of the subject matter. not appealing to radio at all. more like a Frank Zappa style- minus the musicianship.
Zappa's back... as a medieval alien gynocologist! Whoa! One listen was enough, but certainly engaging in a Zappa-esque way (take heart: I can't listen to FZ for too long either!) Well done!
Its awful... Obviously you have never had a baby...
FUCKING SHIT SHIT THis sounds like alians help I am scared HELp this is just wrong is this a sick joke
Jesus must be spinning in his grave Oh wait a minute, he's been missing from his grave for some time now. I applaud the songwriting and harmonies.
weird al fans make a sad attempt at comedy a guy having a baby, hilarious...
Tighten it up! Gross lyrics
Nightmares for weeks Oh god...this track disturbed me. A song about giving birth? That's just wrong...very, very wrong. I'm also a very strong non-believer in God and the story of Christ, so this song just didn't agree with me at all. The chanting was scary, the lyrics were disturbing, and the rest wasn't all that good either. Hate to break it to ya, guys, but most religious nuts don't like to think about Mary "pushing". *shudder*
THIS SONG ROCKS GREAT SONG
long intro but fun Very interesting..i like it, but the intro is too long
A disturbing twinge of genius? I found this to be a bit disturbing. But, the important part is that the lyrics were engaging enough to hold my attention throughout the entire song. That is a commendable achievement.
Oh Lord!
Comicountry Absolutely
loved the lyrics. Like the singers voice and the backing vocals. Good guitar
work. Great job. I commend you for speaking the truth that everyone
wants to say, but doesn't have the guts to say it.
Speechless good rhythm thats all
GOOD JOB YOU SINNER!!! cracked me up. 3 cheers for your band. (maybe god will help you win the stupid garage band contest). nice job.
this song sucks I think this song really sucks, it wasn't even funny, I think they should take this song off and burn it in the trash. It was a mockery of church which affended me. In closing, I believe there was some talent there, work harder on it give us something better.
Hilarious!! Hilarious!!
Cute. Funny. Real. This is something we would all like to sing at one time or another. You did it well and I will share it with some friends. We will be singing it by the end of the day.
THE BEST!!!!!!!
hokey pretty hokey stuff, more comedy than rock and roll.
Funny song, risky subject what a marvelously subversive song! its humor is bold and biting- and i admire the band for taking the risk of offending potentially a lot of people. i think it could benefit from better production, however. the tinny quality of the vocals makes them easy to understand, but if they had a richer tonal quality, the song would sound even more like a "normal" country song, and would be even funnier, in my opinion. it's a great song. i wish you well!
For a laugh.... Very funny, I like it
I think this song needs a prayer. Almost funny.
I give you a good grade, A for effort ;- Wow... this is quite ... interesting, I don't know how I feel about this. It's funny.
Loads of fun I love country songs with lyrics like this, really enjoyed it. Music is fun too, very enjoyable.
Who Spit in my Saddle? Benny Hill on Crack
God will get you for that song! HE will not be made a "Mockery-of".
Kill this song This is not funny in the least. In fact it's insulting.
Even Jesus cannot save this song. Sorry guys your singing needs a lot of work. Harmony also is a bit off. Good drums and guitar almost rescue this song but I really did't enjoy the lead singer.
Maybe to cute by half kinda cute
Where are you Cletus? I can't believe people actually waste their time in producing this kind of crap. I'd rather be stuck listening to Cletus than this garbage.
Awesome Lyrics This song has some really interesting lyrics. They are song pretty weird though. They're too like, low and too groggy sounding. It's a really interesting song, but the vocals or the music aren't that interesting. The music just basically sits in the back, and doesn't even really have too much of a part in this song. Is there even a bass part in this song? It's an okay song, I guess. The lyrics are ery, very interesting, and very fun to listen to, but the vocals and music aren't catchy, interesting, or that exciting. The song is also a bit too short.
praise god thank you jesus. cool track. can't think of any improvements but since its the only song i heard by you i'm hoping you have some serious stuff too.
Overall Professionalism Good-But Theme Was A Killer Very Professional Production Good Vocal And Music--The Theme Had A Real Mean Edge-Think It Was Suppose To Be Sartical? Good Luck-Cheer Up:-
Fun to listen I enjoyed this song very much , The lyric was so funny.
A killer song that isn't... This song sounded kinda funny at first, and there are some good ideas, but it's really offensive how the singer asks God to help him kill people.
can be better muffled voice
This Sucks rotton eggs This is one of the worse songs I've ever heard. The production sucks also
Wanted: Professional Sound Engineer. Production values here are just enough off to be an irritant. The mix is all off and the instrumentals (bass mostly) tend to cover the vocals.
oh lord! cute ...the guitar sucks though..but cute..kinda
Country gone country This raw country feel is generally not my style - but if it were, I'd hoot and holler that the back-woods accent sound too contrived. But what do i know, i'm a damn yankee anyway.
Fun song.
Dancing
On The Berlin Wall
Great sound!
Nice to hear someone putting out something different. Love the guitars,
good vocals infact alround spot on.
Quirky County Rock opening. Reminded me of Little Feat. I'm liking the lyrics, this is very punk pop, as I call it. Talking Heads, etc. The mix is a little strange, probably the stream, but I'm digging it. My only recommendation, and I do so hesitantly, is to redo the lead vocals. It's either too up in the mix or just off a little. I understand the inflection is necessary but maybe it needs some "sweetening". If you don't know what that is, ask your studio engineer. Ending was a little weak, but I can live with that, high marks.
Cool country sound Cool country sound, but once again I think that you have the wrong catagory. This sounds more like low grade 1970's CB radio stuff.
SOLO = SWEET I like the lyrics. Solo is sweet in the beginning. Keep up the good work, from what i hear it sounds cool.
Goofy It's great you can write and perform music, but the whole thing is so goofy. You're plying rock n' roll, and you obviously love the Dead, but you haven't progressed from that whole E A D progression. It's fun, but nothing I would listen to.
Lighter than it first seems. Clean performance. At first it sounded inappropriate that a song about someone being killed at the Berlin Wall should have such a light arrangement and mix. However, as the song progresses it becomes clear that it is not about someone being killed, but about the wall coming down. It's a good "feel good" song about being free to persue one's dreams. I wonder, though, if it is not too topical, since the wall came down nearly 20 years ago. The idea of freedom, however, is never outdated.
very good! i like the vocals, whoever is singing has a good voice. try some emotional variations. background music is very good. try some enunciation. i can't understand you all the time. i think you have found your personal style. this seems to fit you very well. if you have any other music, i'd like to hear it.
GOOD SONG GOOD IDEA FOR A SONG GOOD KICKED BACK STYLE
Sounds Grateful Deadish. I dig the music, it's got a cool feel. The chorus is pretty hooky. The guitars sound great. The song itself seems well crafted. The only problem I have is the melody is kinda lost on the verses. The singer needs to do a little homework, to gain some confidence. It seems the verses are more spoken than sang. Keep jammin!
Interesting tune. Production is not all that good. It's a bit amateurish. I like the lyrics, though they're a bit scizophrenic. Too much guitar lickage for my tast. The piano in the background is good.
Sushi blues, a little raw but tasty.. Just something about this raw tune that makes you want to hear it all. Quirky mood, tone and slightly bizarre guitar. Yeah, I get it..would they?
Funky groove tune! Catchy tune! The lyrics are funky
Nice guitar sound! Nice moving song. Vocals could be a little clearer in parts.
Not my kind of music. sounds country
Checkpoint children If this this band was going for comedic approach to music then yes, they got me laughing, but if this is serious music, I don't think it will fly. It sounds like children singing in the background.
The Summer song of the day Not bad, easy listening for around the pool time.
Quirky Pop Number Interesting lyrics, quirky is the best way to describe this song.
off the wall funky
great guitar! not my type of song, but you could defenitly jam with dicky betts!! awesome riffs!
well........ sorry guys, but this is just not my type of song, it's a little too country for me, well it's a little slower and has that banjo sound. It is just not something that would hit the radio waves, but in all it's not a bad song, just not something that would apeal to everyone. after you listen to it a few times, it gets catchy and a little better.
Stiff
50's It reminds me of the '50's music
On the Road Again Good guitar, catchy rhythm. Vocals could have been mixed a little better. Not my style of music, but a good tune.
has a cool "schoolhouse rock" sound, know what i mean superior songcraft and an active rhythm section help put over an unconventional singing voice. guitar kind of meanders at times, but, has several "money licks", as Steve Cropper calls 'em. ending is a little... eh.
Can't stop dancing!!! This is great, I can't stop dancing.
Strange Song Catchy beat, but it didn't seem to go with the lyrics, although I did find them intriguing. The chorus could have been sung instead of just blurted out. It was a very strange song.
The
Other Dope Song
If it was about something
else... I think the drug message is stupid as hell,
but that's not my issue, is it? Musically the vocals aren't too bad and
overall it has a catchy raw style that I like.
hey Cheech I'm sorry to hear about your addiction. You know they say people on drugs sometimes write really good songs while in their drug induced state..............
Silly but enjoyable I know people who might turn this into an anthem (not me - I didn't inhale! ...recently). Actually under the silliness, you guys can sing quite nicely. You've lightened my afternoon.
drugs rule stop whinning and get drunk
A GEM THERE IS VERY FEW PLACES WHERE THIS SONG WOULD NOT BE APPROPRIATE LIVE. THIS IS A GREAT LIVE SONG (FOR AN ADULT AUDIENCE ANYWAY.)
Humorous A pretty humorous song here. This reminded me of a Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show type of song. Sounded like it was recorded live? Some cool harmonies and and...mmmm... interesting subject matter. Sorry to hear you lost your stash. May be a good time to quit. But don't freak out on me!
Groovy Baby Let me go drink a fifth of Jack Daniels and smoke a few and I'll listen again and I might like it. Stone sober, listening to this song is like having hot poker shoved up my ass. Deep.
And your surprised you couldn't find the seeds?? Gee, you don't sound stoned.. Sounded like a parody ..like something out of Fireside Theatre. I was bored, but I hope you had fun making the demo..
Very funny I could really identify with this song. I laughed out loud. Very original. I loved it!!!
Stoned Much? Very mellow acoustic guitar, oh, no wonder, you guy's like party out now don't you. You might be able to market this to Cheech and Chong.
Don't quit your day job These lyrics not for today country.
Good tune..... Like the story but not to comercial these days.
Maybe you should consider coke ... Sorry guys - this is sophomoric at best - I have done my share of smoke doping and you don't strike any nerves with this roach of ragweed! (of course if this song is nothing but a lark - you hit it on the head) - that down turn chord change made me wanna introduce you to a fretless guitar ... sorry about the trashing of your tune but you had to know it was coming by posting this one! Better luck next time.
Retro 70's Smoke & Toke Musically, not much to say. Country Joe & The Fish and Arlo covered the subject matter 30 years ago. I'm sure the song goes over well with friends and tokers, probably 'bout the fourth set. So, it will probably sell a million!
funny you guys seem to be having a fun time
A white trash stoners' anthem This is fucking hilarious. I love it and the recording is lo-fi but not bad. It makes me wanna move into a trailer park, buy a broken down El Camino and pull out my bong.
stoned I think this song is funny if you are a drug addict which i'm not and since i have been married to a drug addict before and know what hell it is, this song is totally worthless i hink that songs that promote drug usage suck!!!!!
Sixties!! This will have appeal for the pot heads all around the world.
Organic, different The lyrics are different than I expected in the folk/country ategory. I don't support the use of illegal substances, but you guys are refreshingly direct about it. The song is catchy and I could picture the kids digging it. The guitar part is catchy and you guys sound like you're having fun with it.
a good party song this song has a really good beat and i love the lyrics. its a funny song and i think it would be great for a party. it don't really have country lyrics but the beat to the song makes it more country like. i really like this song. and having people in the back ground makes it better and seem more real.
Been there.....thanks for writing a song about it. You speak my language. I have nothing else to say. Sweet song....and lyrics of course.
Sheesh What a waste of talent
Cheech and Chong are back You guys much be having a blast. I'd love to jam with you! Keep it up, Cheech and Chong!
quick...grab a tape deck and record this.... Production was really weak...if you're going to use a multi-track recorder, try to set it up a little cleaner and lose the fx you're using.....sounded really hollow....fun party song for the club scene...keith
Too stoned to come up with good lyrics? I sat here and thought about how to write this review without sounding too negative but there is just no way. Before I even heard the lyrics, I was thinking that the harmonizing didn't sound good, like one or both of the guys was off key, but then after I listened to the lyrics, I realized that they were probably just stoned. Country singers are well known for singing about beer and heartache, but a country song about weed???? The lyrics are really repetatie to begin with and to top it off, country music is one of the only genres of music that parents can let their children listen to without worrying about it having a negative influence on them, this song is a disgrace to country music. Let me hear a song with some intelligent lyrics and sober singers, and then I will rate the band on that.
Clovis
I WISH I WAS THERE..WITH
A PINT OF HARPS GOOD CHORDS. NICE BACK VOX AND LYRICS.
MELODY SOLID. LIKE THE ATTITUDE...FUN YET SERIOUS. LIKE SPARKLY WINE
MIXED WITH GIN
it's just a bar song, but... this is a great bar song. I can see a whole pub chanting a catchy chorus with these guys...
Much to Long I love the guitar. But I must admit that this song is much to long.
HAHAHA oh man. I'm not a big fan of the country sound, but the lyrics of this song kick my ass. It's too bad the recording is pretty nasty, quality-wise, but as a devout athiest, I think you guys kick ass! Thanks guys!
Say What? Try it again a little earlier in the evening. Could'nt make sense of any of the lyrics. Other than that, I was tired of the music after the second go around. The guitar parts sounded pretty good (mix levels) so it wasn't a complete waste of time. Cause I couldn't understand the lyrics the timing of the song didn't make any sense. Must be heard live to appreciate?
Pretenders? Jam Band? Great sound for a live recording. Are you usually a jam band? this is good stuff. I'm not a big fan of jam bands, and this song really isn't a jam song so far. lyrics flow very well. sounds as if you put on a pretty good live show. everything is very well balanced, the bass could be a little louder but that is just my ear. ah here comes the jam. its easier to like this without an image to look at. I've had bad experiences with the "j-crew hippie" group. there is a difference between them and real jam band kids. but I can count on them being there for this show and that is the most frustrating thing for me is the sight of them. very tight sounds . I can't really give you any advice except to keep it up, you are good at what you do and i will respect that. rock on dudes and dudettes.
covers I like Big Head Todd too...but he already did this.
Dead Show? Man right from the get go I am feeling like I am at a Dead Show. Break out some L-25 and lets party. I can also appreciate the comical lyrics, I used to be on Dr. Demento years ago. I also wrote a similar song once called Bible Thumpers. The live feel really is a nice touch too. You may need to come up with an edited down version of this just because most people won't do much more than 3 or 4 minutes. Even at that, I guarantee no radio would even touch this song. The world would just be in turmoil if they heard these lyrics. I on the other hand am totally relating to them. Church can be just a big racket. Good luck guys. This sounds like it was recorded in some bar in Montana.
Racially charged song live in a barn. too folky for rocker. this is a folk song. the vocals could be sung clearer. i could only make out a few words. it's a long tune. too bad the words are so muddy. the harmonies need to be tightened up coz it just sounds like mush to me. it's a song about religion anyway i got that much. it's a live track. lead guitar sucks. not very imaginitive. they need to rehearse ALOT. the vocals are so sloppy, it's a shame. it sounds like the words have something important to say. the ending is horrible. at least they had fun.
Sound like fun. These guys seem pretty cool. This kinda dragged on for a listen though. Some studio recording would be better for a listen i think. they seen like a fun band to watch.
Not Good Please get your harmony singing together. I had to stop listening.
Cool Summer Song The songs had a great feel. Very fishy/deady...cool and fun. I like it. I like the live recording feel too. I'd love to hear a studio version with really tight vocals and harmonies.
too much noise in background recommend new songs for band these do not suit the vocals of the band.Might be a good beach-drinking song although.....will review again after a few beers.
Good but not as good as first Cool tunes. Not as good as first but still very good. Interesting.
I'm Thinking of Dire Straits and the Grateful Dead This song sounds like it was recorded with one mike. As a listener, I'm accustomed to good production: even when people are recording in their living room. The song is lacking a "there" there, which is to say, I never understood what it was about, what the writer was trying to communicate. At the very least though, you guys sound like you're having fun.
cheery alternative Nice melody and structure.. kinda has a grateful dead feel. It's mellow and dancable. Less filling and tastes great. Nice job!
Review interesting song-good guitars
check out the good time song pretty good baroom sing-along type song...good feeling song... there's some song writing talent in there somewhere, I can hear it. keep writing more songs. Good musicians too.I gave it good rating..I would of gave it higher if was better recording.
weird al gets a partner Unfortunately, this live recording sounds weak and does you no justice. However, the song and performance isn't bad at all! In fact it sounds good and lyrics are fun. Is this a hit? Nah, more of a Weird Al Yankovic type song but it sounds like you had a very fun time with it so more power to ya. We need more artists who don't take everything so seriously.
DESRVE A TRY GOOD MELODY AND VOICE IS NOT TOO BAD
why!!!!!!!!!!!!1 did you record this out side?
Something Different for a Change! This song is really different. The words are catchy and make you want to learn them and sing along. It's nice to listen to one of these songs and not want to stop it early!
Catchy I like it
Sounds like a good live perfomance Swingy and catchy, but the a cappella parts takes it down a little. The voices are not good enough to keep the spirit up on a record, but as a live recording it's good enough. But seven minutes is quite long.
Good music when all guest are totally drunk This is at best a filler song for an album that was running low on material. Will not get much airplay - unless band has live/stage appeal when performing
Goofy folk song with a nice feel Nice folksy song with what i believe is a positive message, although it seemed quite nonsensicle during my first listen.
Has a Grateful Dead feel Now that the Dead are gone, this song could probably play well to Deadheads.
IT HELPS TO BE BUZZED SOUNDS KINDA COOL, BUT TOO MUCH LIKE THE "DEAD"
live??? levels are a little low...was this done live?? It's a cool song though!!
keep trying singers need to improve their vocal talents, not strong enough or in sync, background music not great
Vocals are not sync It's a VERY nice song.. but the vocals need improvement bad. The back vocals are not synced in parts and the head vocalist need improvement definitely.
UPMA Catchy melody to it. Not crazy about the UMPA feel to it. It's like an energizer battery, it keeps going and going and going. Too long.
Hic... A bit raw. I need a good drink!
What was that? What the hell was that? Get your lyrics clearer.
A HAPPY WELCOME SOUNDS LIKE A LIVE TRACK. SOUNDS GOOD.
The Band meets 10,000 Maniacs
Light,
airy, but serious song. The jammy feeling of The Band with the lead guitar
and social consciousness of 10,000 Maniacs... but not quite as interesting
or intelligent
recording maybe
it would be better if the recording was better
Mary Of
Nazareth
Yikes! A
twisted out-take from J.C. Superstar? Or is it a biblical Rock Opera by...hmmmm....Satan?
Well, I guess you had fun at Virgin Mary's expense. Some would call that
sacreligious. I just think someone has a little too much time on one's
hands.
AHAHAHAHAAH This reminded me of They Might Be Giants - I loved it. What a crazy theme. I think i WILL vacation there. After all - it's cheaper than Rome and that Mary chick is there. Loved the concept - like a rock opera about Christ eh?- this part obviously exploring Mary's psyche a bit. I'm a new fan. I even gave you extra credit for Female vocals for Mary's part!
I got sore ears from listening to this one The only thing I could think of for your song was that it might be usefull background to a contraceptive comercial
Interesting? Music sounds a little off time in spots. This was definitely not my style of music.
I CANT STAND THIS SONG I HATE THIS SONG SO MUCH I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START
Where is Eric The Red????? Sounded like vikings. Is this a song from Kids in The Hall?
Pathetic! This song has to be a joke, very pathetic!
Strange indeed A different kind of song with not bad background music.
SNL? Funny and irreverent. Wouldn't play well in the bible belt, but it made me laugh!
gotta love it very funny song......luv the lyrics!!!
never ending story good story tellin feel maybe for a comedy
yeah... like a cartoon... but i like this song.. try more better...
jesus saves are you serious? wow. takes balls i guess...
Brilliant!! Brilliant!!
If this is for real -- you need some help. What? Is this an homage to the Life of Bryan? If this is meant as a "religious" tune, keep your day job. If this is social satire, it's simply not funny. And, at the end of the day, you guys just don't seem very talented. While this may have seemed funny when you thought of it (and I must confess that had I been there, I probably would have laughed uproariously, as well), this just sucks.
A religious experience?????? I think i experienced the Rapture.
Funny stuff Good Good
so moody wow... such a moody song
Frank Zappa does Jesus Christ Superstar very cool. Bizarre but cool. Blasphemous and entertaining at the same time.
Trash it. I guess they need a joke genra on this site.
not worthy supposed to be funny?
Deliciously Offensive Why is this in the pop/rock category? You guys are going to offend a lot of people, but I thought it was damn funny.
Monty Python Lives! Stop it! Stop it! I can't stand it! You're killing me! Hahahahahaha aaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
Pass on the zucchini Irreverent yes, funny, well I admit I chuckled, production ok, not a musical masterpiece but don't think that was the intention... Keep having fun and good luck
weird and dangerous! this is crazy!-nearly blasphermous!
TERRIBLE This is the most insulting song I have ever heard. Sacrilege. Beyond the line. Liverlips.
tune is good cool tune
Classic comedic rock!! This song is hilarious!!! I never stopped laughing throughout the whole song. Classic 'Kids in the Hall' or Tom Green humor. Not something you will hear anytime soon on Top 40 radio, but something you WILL want to hear again when you are feeling down.
Honestly The music was actually very good, and reminded me of something Zappa would create. Even though, I am a Christian, I found myself chuckling throughout the song at ome of the bizarro that was being sung about. To be honest, I thought it was great until the very end where you are mocking the Virgin Mary. Sorry, but you are treading on thin ice there. You have alot of potential for some great entertaining music. Just stay away from controversial topics like religion that easily offend people.
Tongue and cheek silly soound
i luv u fellows Its wonderful.. noones better than these guys
Band Smited by God for Song aboot Virgin Mary! This is some fucked up shit. Funny as hell, but really wierd. Makes me want to become a vegitarian.
Nazareth- not a funny song. The beginning is funny, but the rest of it isn't. Is that Kermit the Frog?
Hee hee ho ha ha! At first, I had trouble understanding what exactly this was supposed to be - I thought it might be the soundtrack to a Disney musical or something...but then after the first couple of verses, I started laughing my ass off! This is terrific satirical work, extremely witty, and completely original! I loved this! PS - Are you really technically a virgin?
arise again frank come on guys you've been listening too much to the frank zappa gang
Very religous minded. This is a disgrace to even mud.
Technically...bizzare, but worth a listen Hhmmm?..This is definitley different & gets a Star for originality..lyrically, a little bizzare, but something about it that merits credit. Wish I knew what it was you were smoking when you wrote it 'cause I'd like some - Nice one
Blasphemy! (hee, hee) How dare you?! Just kidding. Takes me back to those "They Might Be Giants" days of not so long ago. Very creative.
I listened to this track on christmas day. wow! jesus chrimany! will you kids have my baby
Like Howard Under Your Skin Okay, this is no tune for the ages here. The musicianship is nothing to write home about, and the overall feel is at times contrived. However, there's something about this tune that grows on you in a Howard Stern kind of a way. It gets under your skin and begs to be heard again.
Oh, The Irreverance Less of a song and more of a scene from a musical. The beat, production, arrangements, and vocals are horrible. This one gets double extra credit for the double tracked vocals and the completely original idea of a zucchini in Nazareth. I enjoyed this for the shock value only. I suspect that is the intent of the song.
They might be silly A cross between the dude of life and the 2 johns (linell and flansberg) I like it.
funny stuff must say that this song made me smile, but i wouldn't say that this type of stuff would win recording contract
In a category of its own... well, this song definately through me off guard...at the time I needed a good laugh, and you definately provided that for me. later.
lol- awesome!!! This song was a riot and hilarious!!!!! It reminds me of Monty Python!!! Very original and it rules!!!
Christian Rock? This is not gonna sell. Listenly to it was painful! ... I was hoping the openning was to serve as parody of some sorts. It got worse and worse. This really sucks!
Give me some originality and
beat! Production was weak and wasn't original!
Music with Pride Catchy
Original railroad song. Very original lyrics.
A Real Country Song! Nice song, I like the mixed vocals. The organ sticks out quite nicely as well.
not bad it's good some good guitar in it man i love that twangy country sound
Very upbeat the voices don't really match with the music they need to blend more...
Original sound I give ya a five cause you are original. Is that an organ or the rythm guitar creating that sound? It's an original sound! Keep it! Good job. Best of everythin with career!
Atta go.l I get it... nice country feel going on here, I could almost hear the lyrics well enough to get the jist of the song. Atta go.
Hand clapping music You have a good beat, interesting lyrics and I enjoyed the combination of voices. Keep it up
Interesting It's catchy. I like it. Kind of makes me want to dance :
A Jumpin' Thigh-Slapper Very nice Keyboard, nice fiddles. Recommend a harmonica in background. Lead vocalist is a bit weak, but would still buy it.
Hilly Billy Country
hillbillies...... you guys sound like you're having fun.....vocals work together, funky, hillbilly beat...not bad
So Quirky it's killing me. Quirky. Herky Jerky. Johnny Cash would puke.
Great Instrumentation Really good tright song. I like the multiple vocal parts. Good song guys!!!
Truckin Let one person sing. The "harmony" thing isn't working.
Keep doing what you love Reminds me of good ole texas music. I believe production could have been a little better but an okay tune
Corporate Country With a Kick I like this! This reminds me of childhood. Cityfolk could listen to this. It's cute but not the type of country I could take seriously. Where is Hank Williams?
this song the organ is a bit to loud for my taste a little more bass to push the track would help.good luck
Fine song Good writing, words, tune and chord progression. Effective singing and arrangement. Only reservation is that the music could have been just a little better coordinated rhythmically (just slightly out of synch- this is an occupational hazard when trying to match live musicians with drum machines -It would probably have been within appropriate standards live, but on a recording, it's probably worth going that extra little distance to get it perfect). Despite reservations, overall, a strong tune.
bad dream? hee haw!!!!!! who robbed the lowrey organ store????? yippee!!!!! ride 'em cowboy!!!!!! not too original - get with it and do something new, not something ancient. the guitar player had his stuff together though.
Highball Well it definatly had my kids dancing. Good tune, good lyrics, although i think the keyboard is a bit heavy.
HOT PICKIN' A cool song .It needs a little polishing here and there.Keep playing it for awhile and re-record it,I think everything will fall into place naturally for you.
i think i heard this once in a country song... there's nothing to this song to make it stand out from any other song by any other band playing in some hick bar. this song sounds real dated, but not in a good way. why not try to take your music somewhere new?
Down the line Good feel and story line. Hook could be a bit stronger.
Big Jumbled Mess This song has no redeeming qualities.
Good lyrics Like your lyrics, need some production work, raise your music a bit it's getting lost. I like it
Would Be Better Live I can imagine this song being fun in a live situation at a bar...the production value in the recording just isn't there. Maybe it just doesn't translate well into a recorded medium.
sketchy sketch, good song I like the song. This version sounds like a songwriters sketch so I'm not going to point out obvious faults. Arranged for a band and stronger vocalist I would enjoy this.
Definitly a "must" listen to track! A real feelin good melody with nice vocal arrangement.
Moving on song A little more practice on the vocals and ya'll will do a better job. I really like the CD. I hope this helps ya'll.
Neo Cow Punk? BR5 49 meets Rank & File. I liked this a lot - especially the guitar. The dual lead vocals are kind of cheesy and may make this seem a little jokier than is intended. But the music is cool. Keep it up and good luck!
wow it was ok not good but ok, i dont like this type of music but would say this song was ok.
Invasion
Nothing is sacred
Good intro - guitar maybe a little too loud. Has a nice feel about it -
somewhere in the Deep Purple meets The Eagles vibe. Cool vocal sound.
The organ sounds just gorgeous. Guitar well played - but just a little
too in yer face for my taste.
unusual - can't quite place it something quirky about this I like. Guitar good but maybe a bit too much lead going on. Progression a little simplistic - maybe more song structure / change would make this a better song
Not great Don't like the vocals at all. Not just the lack of control but the guality. That library line is a good example of the lack of metre in the melody line. Good playing but you could have found a much better keyboard sound. The song itself isn't bad, fairly good structure.
silly song fun, though. lead guitar is a bit loud (and a bit relentless) considering in a song like this, it's important to hear the words, and sometimes it swamps the lead vocal. funny lyric!
Bluesy feel Very santana-esqe guitar... good stuff. vocals are ok. good for a bluesy song like this... No real criticism... Keep rockin'. Great guitar work, really dig the thick hendrix-style distortion...
Change the setting on the organ. I don't know why bands always use the most processed sound on there electronic organs. Not really doing anything for me. Sounds very cheezy
Defies Description Wow. Ya just don't hear red neck lyrics like these much outside of Charlie Daniels Band records. Real old time rock & roll singin' and playin' going on here. Kind of takes you back.
Was this recorded when the doors were alive? You do definitley sound like "The doors" Very dated stuff but not even like cool hip. dated tune.even when the female voices ome in in unison with you. could be cool tune if the production and arrangenment were updated.
I wish you would... ...rethink the use of the F word. Gas station talk doesn't really add the emphasis you think it does. It is just distracting. Furthermore, since it alienates entire categories of listeners it might just be a bad career choice if you are trying to attract more fans. I'm not saying you have to be Barry Manilow, but maybe you could substitute another word. Song itself is OK, with plenty of blistering guitar work. Someone has been practicing their scales.!
Good guitar riffs but... i'm not quite digging the lyrics to the whole song nor the vocals. The guitar riffs are great as is the solo towards the middle/end of the song, even if the drive is a little fuzzy for my taste, and even for the texture of the song. You have the drums and a very generic keyboard sound in the background which doesn't necessarily sound bad, but with the fuzzy guitar on top of it, things seem somewhat out of place. Also, the high harmonies don't blend since the lead singers vocals are low to begin with. The jump from low to high seems too far a reach to blend well. It's not a bad song, but production isn't great and choice of instrumental tone could be worked on.
:> Intersting lyrics. Nice beat. Needs a little more something though, maybe more variation in the voice tone & pitch.
Very Retro Was this song made in 1967? Sign sign everywhere a sign...
invasion what? This is funny!!!!! The lyrics are hilarious. the guitar is really good. You really dont here that many humorous songs nowa days. I apprciate this, I really do!!!! now Im going to fall on my butt laughing!! Keep it up!!!!
paranoid goofy cheech and chong rock This guy may have a large assortment of artiliary in his basement. The music itself is kind of funny, especially with the 60's type backing vocals going on the chorus. The electric guitar is well done. The lead vocals are really going to be a personal taste thing. I can see folks either loving it or not so much ya know?
a drunk mark lanegan? the song has got a nice hook. the lead guitars are cool (although way too fuzzy for my taste, but it works with the song for some reason...), especially in the chorus. the solo, however, is not as good. the singer sounds like a (very) drunk mark lanegan, which is interesting, to say the least : )
Under the influence? This song is cool, Sounds like a mix of the doors, warren zevon, and the band who sings Little red riding hood.lol Not sure who that is. The guitar Riffs are sweet. I'm not too into the whole organ thing but it sounds really good here. This is a solid song. The guitar solo smokes, Im impressed. This is a great song by yet another great band! Chubs
too retro for me Good drum intro... 60's influenced guitar. A little too retro/classic rock for my taste.
Nice guitar Guitar player rocks. Production needs a little work.
Humorous The song made me laugh - which is what Ia m guessing is the goal. guitar sounded good, although it was lost in the background.
Song I'd listen your song and... I like it! I trust you realy worked... It's good. Even more than good!
Return of the Doors!!! ...but not as good. Very sixties or seventies. Not sure if you'll find an audience for this in 2001 but you might. It's not bad...good playing. The vocals need to be a little tighter and stronger in the mix.
THE THING THAT ROTS ABOUT ALL THE NEW TECHNOLOGY IS... anyone can recorded an release music. and this boring, unoriginal, made so the gtr player can solo all over it song was HORRIBLE
Sounds kinda 60ish you kinda sound like the doors. Need to work on the lyrics.
Country and the band Fastball. Great guitar licks and cool arrangement.
Well I wasn't feeling this one Over all it was bad...I could rip apart the whole thing but I won't. I think this needs sent back to the drawing board. It is like bad Doors.
Nice refrain and strong guitar Well played and arranged, strange regulation of the vocal, it sounds a little detached by the rest, good chorus and nice guitar. The tune is not bad. A little long break for a single, but good solo.
guitar star I didn't find this song appealing. Lyrically it is poor. Vocals are not the best. The playing overall is good...everything sounds tight, etc. Sound quality is ok. Guitar licks sounds pro but get overbearing. Anyway, this sounds like something that would be used in a movie for background music. Thats not an insult. I would never expect to hear this on the radio. Good luck with it.
excellent gutiar. listen to this the lyrics a lacking a small bit but the solo's are sooooo good you want to hear more of it. When you hear more the lyrics seem to get better. They fit in well.
Good one At first it reminded me of some Cream type tune....late 60s Crazy World of Arthur Brown stuff.....Nice hook. Nice words....rock on PEACE!
Very different sound Very different sound. The chorus was really really good. The guitar solos were great. I think the guitar sound needs to be beefed up a bit, but what do I know. The bridge part flowed well. The vocals were good, kinda reminded me of someone but I just can't put my finger on who. Good song.
jimi hendrix sounding.i liked the beat and melody to the song.vocals are a good different sound. lyrics were cool. drummer is doing some real cool.
Groovy I dont know whether its me or not but all the guy vocalists Ive reviewed today sound like mick jagger...definately not a bad thing...just strange. Probably the bit that grabs me the most is when the other voices join in...thats cool. Personally, I'd play on the retro vibe even more, that coupled with crisp production and this song would be pretty decent to groove/twist/jellyfish around to.
Wierd Al with an edge. After listening to the first verse I thought that this was just going to be a simple fun song. Nothing serious. But then, that guitar solo was really impressive. It almost seems out of place but it's really good.
Cute little tune I like the peppy music, and lyrics which pass the spectacular off as ordinary...It's funny to hear such a thing, and there is a lot of life in this song. A great trash song for a bad science fiction movie - or a scooby doo episode...and that's a compliment...
Good Melody I like the melody...couldn't follow the song..though what i could, I liked...there seem to be too much vocal effects...what ever it is...I think a "naked" vocal would be nice with this song... Wayyy too much guitar...the guitar riffs were nice..and catchy...but over done...it took away from the song...
john morisson is channeling thru this guy...nice work, good and groovy...more gravy on my fries, please, mrs. murdock....
I got a kick out of it... This has a Doors vibe to it which immediately killed it for me (sorry I hate the Doors). On the plus side I have great respect for anyone that can pull off "I wish they'd leave me the fuck alone" in a tune and make it work. Now THIS would work in any bar in America! Best of luck guys! PS. If you guys get signed see if Steve Earl is available to produce.
Needs help This song needs a lot of work. The guitarist rocks though.
This will be a hit Future huge hit
Invasion on my ears I liked the Cheech and Chong reference... musicianship is good, but the piece doesn't make it past a mediocre bar song. Production value needs a bit of work... sounds too live.
I wish they'd leave me the fuck alone no no no no no no no no no no
Very interesting combination Good pop song with strong lead guitar solo, and harmonica in background. Very interesting.
Contrived Paranoia.. Or is it?! The singer is trying to be younger than he obviously is, and the guitar solo is overlong. Try to save the f-word for another song; It doesn't belong in this one...
Raw This song sounds like an old 70s rock song. The vocals could use some improvement though, but the guitar work is very good.
Yet another Doors wanna bee Pretty tight sounding band but ultimately too derivative to interest me. We've already had the Doors and that was 30 years ago.
good ok
Don't open this door Are the Doors trying to make a comeback. Please do everyone a favour and lay Jim Morrison to rest. You can tell he needs it by his voice.
naa cool theme but who cares
Sanatana Move Over!! the guitar licks were sweeet.. I however didn't like the back up vocals in the chorus..
Nice little number. Pretty good track.
Hahahahaha The hell??!?! This song was freakin' hilarious! Keep pumping them out and I'll keep enjoying them.
Travel back in time... Mick Jagger singing to 60s synth/organ music...
Improv is good.
Sounds like a jam session. The guitars are tearing it up. I like
the leave me the *&&^ alone part. Not my style. Not a radio friendly
tune.
