OSWALD BOELCKE (1891-1916) Born in Giebichenstein, the son of a schoolmaster, was one of the early heros of the German Air Service. Generally considered the "Father Of Air Tactics", Boelke's Dicta, his rules for air fighting were widely distributed amounngs his nation's air service in 1916. |
