CECIL LEWIS (1898-1997) Lewis joined the RFC in 1915 after lying about his age. By the war's end, Lewis was an eight victory ace flying with No. 56 Squadron. In the years following the war he went on to co-found China's first commercial air service, help found the BBC, work as a correspondent, producer, director and author. |
