Sir Gordon Taylor

(1896-1966)  Born in Sydney, Australia, Taylor served  firdt in No. 66 Squadron and then with 94 and 88 Squadrons.  In the postwar years Taylor remained active in aviation and was knighted for his part in the trans-ocean journeys of the "Southern Cross".  Taylor wrote eight books about his lifetime in aviation.
