What's the best pistol gun safe? There are a number of them out there, so deciding on the right one can be challenging.

#1) Price
Obviously safes can be pricey. Some of the better ones will run you $1500, whereas the cheapest will be just $100.
Don't cut corners.
Sure you want to save money. But if you get a super cheap one, you will sacrifice security. Make sure to read reviews of any specific model you are about to buy.
#2) Locking system
This is one of the factors that affect the price the most. The traditional lock and key system is the cheapest, but it's also the least effective.
