When it comes to LCD televisions, the Sharp LC40LE821E is above the curve. The televisions sleek design, rounded corners, and the glass finishing trim make the model visually attractive to those concerned with style and grace when furnishing a room. Besides style, the Sharp Quattron LC-40LE821E ventures beyond plain functionality with Quad Pixel technology, adding a fourth colour to the normal RGB (Red Green Blue) mix. Although Quad Pixel technology has created a slight backlighting issue at the edges of the picture, the added yellow has given the televisions picture an increased brightness and highly sharp look; the backlighting problem is hardly noticeable.
